The Savannah Harbor Foundation is working with City of Savannah leadership and Regional Health Authorities to implement safe event practices while providing the highest caliber experience possible. Our events will incorporate the following protocols.
Announcements made reminding people about social distancing and hand sanitizing
Posting of signs and ticketing communications Warning Covid-19 Assumption of Risk Signs throughout the venue. Signs also posted on all restrooms concerning Covid-19 risk.
Temperatures checked of all employees, vendors, volunteers and attendees prior to entering event spaces. Ill persons with fevers will not be permitted access to events, but given full refunds.
Hand-sanitizer stations located at every table or high top, or at regular intervals in outdoor spaces
Masks provided for volunteers, vendors and guests and expected to be worn outside of eating & drinking.
Chairs and tables spaced in 6 foot distancing pods. Larger scale events will incorporate 6-10 foot distancing between “pods” of family or small groups who arrive together
Wristbands used to identify groups who arrived together, had temperatures taken & over 21 if applicable.
The event organizers are working with health officials to provide the most up to date and best practices.
In keeping with various government directives Wellness Ambassadors will ensure that no marked location has more that 50 total persons gathered.
